Seaport in Mrzeżyno
Attractions in Mrzeżyno are not only beautiful beaches and picturesque hiking trails but also a modern and atmospheric port, which is the biggest attraction.
Between 2013 and 2015, the port was renovated, which makes it look modern and very atmospheric. Fishing boats, yachts, and in the season tourist ships that can take you on a sea cruise dock here. The port consists of an eastern and western part, separated by the Rega River, which flows here into the Baltic Sea. Both sides are connected by a bridge over the Rega River.
On the eastern part of the port, there is a promenade with many restaurants and ice cream shops, where you can sit, eat, and watch the port. On the western part of the port, there is a smaller promenade without restaurants, with a great view of the western part of the town. At its end, just before the beach entrance, there is a large car park (paid in the season). It is worth visiting both parts of the port because they differ significantly. One part is more entertainment-oriented, while the other is quieter.
Bicycle routes in Mrzeżyno
The VELO 10 bike trail runs through Mrzeżyno, so both to the east and west there are beautiful bike paths. The bike route from Mrzeżyno to Kołobrzeg is fully asphalted and runs along the road. Along the way, you can visit other seaside towns such as Rogowo, Dźwirzyno, or Grzybowo, and at the end, you can tour Kołobrzeg. From the bike path, you can easily access the beaches via numerous exits. To the west of Mrzeżyno, there is a bike path leading to Pogorzelica. It runs entirely through beautiful coastal forest areas. In the middle of the route, there is a popular viewpoint overlooking the sea, where you can rest before continuing. There are two paths to reach Pogorzelica.

Ruins of the church on the cliff in Trzęsacz (30 km)

A perfect testimony to the forces of nature (abrasion). It is a must-see for every globetrotting tourist. Ten meters from the ruins is a viewing platform 20 meters above sea level.
